Yamhill, OR

Not every project needs to be complicated to be impressive. This luxury property in Yamhill is proof that clean design, quality materials, and solid execution can turn a bare property into a space that feels complete from every angle. A full front and backyard transformation with 6,000 square feet of fresh sod, defined planting beds, and a paver patio built for gathering. Simple done right.

Starting From the Ground Up

A landscape is only as good as what sits beneath it. Before a single plant went in the ground, we brought in 100 yards of blended topsoil to regrade and prep the entire property. That kind of groundwork is not the part homeowners see in the finished photos, but it is the reason everything on top performs the way it should.

A full irrigation system was installed with dedicated zones to keep every area of the yard covered properly. Filter fabric and foundation drainage rock detailing were added to protect the home and ensure water moves where it needs to go. These are the details that separate a landscape that holds up from one that falls apart after a couple of Oregon winters.

Clean Lines,
Living Color

The layout was designed around a strong lawn presence. Six thousand square feet of sod installation gave the property an immediate, finished look while establishing the open, usable space the homeowner wanted. The lawn defines the yard. It is the canvas that everything else builds around.

Surrounding that lawn, 355 gallons of plant material were installed across well-defined planting beds. Bark mulch and river rock were layered throughout to create clean transitions between materials and reduce long-term maintenance. The planting plan balanced color, texture, and structure to complement the property without competing with it.

Patio Worth Sitting Down On

The backyard centers around a 350-square-foot paver patio built with Western Interlock pavers and a circle feature that anchors the space. It is the kind of detail that gives a patio a sense of design rather than just a flat surface to put furniture on. The layout was sized and positioned for comfortable outdoor living, whether that means morning coffee or hosting friends on a summer evening.

Every edge, every joint, and every transition was built with the same attention to detail we bring to larger-scale projects. A patio does not need to be massive to make an impact. It needs to be well-built and well-placed.
